Insurance terms like “umbrella liability”, “underwriting”, and “uninsured motorist” are insurance terms we need to understand to make insurance less complicated.

Umbrella Liability - An umbrella liability insurance policy or endorsement is designed to extend the limits of liability insurance protection.

Underwriting - Underwriting is a process used by insurance companies to evaluate whether or not they want to assume an insurance risk and at what price.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage - Helps pay the claims associated with an accident caused by an uninsured or hit-and-run driver.

Workers’ Compensation - Also known as Workman’s Comp, this is a form of business insurance that provides insurance coverage for medical and disability claims arising from on the job or work related injuries.
