What About Pre-Existing Conditions?According to the way that I interpret the guidelines of CoverColorado, if a person has not been insured within 90 days prior to insurance application date, pre-existing medical conditions will not be covered for the first 6 months of coverage under CoverColorado. Applicants who have had at least six months of continuous health insurance coverage within 90 days of the CoverColorado application will not be subject to the six month pre-existing limitation. |
Is Family Health Insurance Coverage Available?
Everyone in a household may be eligible for CoverColorado, but there are no family rates.
Each eligible family member who is enrolled will be charged an individual rate based on such factors as age, gender, smoking status, etc.
