How Can We Help Our Teens Be More Responsible & Safer?

Allstate seems to suggest that state and federal law makers should come up with more uniform national standards for drivers licensing laws. That may be one logical answer, but we, as parents, must take some responsibility in helping our teen drivers be more responsible.

Some Suggestions:

  • Talk about “smart” driving
  • Driving experience under low-risk situations
  • Supervised driving
  • Restrictions on late-night driving
  • Limits on teen passengers
  • Ban cell phones
